She states she so glad she has it since people are in and out of the room with friends. I also bought the lock to anchor the box to the heavy furniture so someone wont walk out with the whole 37lb box. If someone wants to steal something they will but at least with the lock it will slow them down quite a bit. The box has a digital combination that you can set to a four digit code or you can open it with a key. The key whole has a cover over it so you don't know it has a key lock. Its very roomy inside, plenty of room for laptop and small purse and other small items. He has a lot of valuable items, expensive camaras, computer, etc and wanted more security. It works great and hasn't had any problems. It's a little big but after reading other reviews saying the 17" laptops have a hard time fitting the other safes, we went with the bigger one. In a couple of minutes I had programmed the combination. Want the beeps off when you type in the combination? No sweat. Two keys in case you forget your combination, too. 3) Security - no safe provides 100% confidence, but if you bolt this one down, a thief is going to have to go through a lot of trouble to get your stuff, especially if he is going to want it to be intact when he gets it out. Excellent bang for the buck on this one. |
